Feng Li’s Research Lab

Research Team

PhD students at PKU

I am always seeking motivated PhD candidates to join my team. The ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in statistical theory and computational skills. Successful candidates will engage in cutting-edge research, benefit from an interdisciplinary environment, and contribute to advancements in both statistics and related fields.

I also accept international PhD students. If you are interested in doing a PhD with me, you should apply for  Guanghua School of Management  with the major in Statistics. Scholarships are also available. If you have any questions, please contact Guanghua School of Management’s international office at Tel: 86-10-62747052, 86-10-62747006 or via Email: iphd@gsm.pku.edu.cn. The International Student Division has its own evaluation procedure. Once you are enrolled, you could choose me as the supervisor. I am happy to share any information you want to know.

Authorship ethics

I take authorship ethics seriously in my team like the general academic community does (see e.g. https://robjhyndman.com/hyndsight/authorship/). For those who are not familiar with this common practice, please check carefully before we start any activities. I am happy to add you as a coauthor if you have provided substantial intellectual contribution and responsibility in a project. The author order is either followed by scientific policies or decided according to individual contributions. The following activities do not by themselves constitute a claim to authorship without substantial intellectual contribution to the work.

  • Providing data that has already been published or materials obtained from third parties (including the routine collation and provision of research source material);
  • Providing a routine technical contribution;
  • Providing routine assistance in some aspects of the project.
